Ebay sells Skype - There were rumors floating around but yesterday they came true as Ebay sold a majority stake (65%) of Skype which they acquired for $3B several years ago. The investor group that purchased the company was led by Silver Lake and includes Index Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Investment Board. -SlashGear
